Južne vesti: Grand Prix and best conductor award in Romania
The Children's and Youth Choir of the Choral Society “Branko” won the Grand Prix at the National Choral Music Festival in Orăștie, Romania, and conductor Jovana Mikić received a special jury prize for best conductor.
The choir performed on 13 December 2025 in the Church of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel, as the only foreign participant of the festival, with a programme of sacred music by Stevan St. Mokranjac, Pavel Chesnokov, Hadži Jakov Milutinović, Andrej Cincarević and Stepan Degtyarev.
The journey was organised with the blessing of Archbishop and Metropolitan Arsenije of Niš.
